The Cure takes place in present day Memphis, Tennessee. The main character is a vampire who wants to be human so he can marry the love of his life. The only thing that stands in his way is that the original vampire that turned him, wants him to stay a vampire so he can have an army of vampires to fight for him. The player is playing as a war veteran who was turned during the end of World War 2. Will he get the cure and marry the love of his life, or will he stay a vampire? What would you do for love? Would you stay a vampire and let someone control you because of your inhuman abilities or give everything up and live a normal life with the person you love?
